Once a disaster hits, it can be hard to know what to do. The community network of resources is disrupted and survivors are left feeling lost. Compass 82 is here to develop and support customized recovery plans based on the individual’s or community’s specific needs. Compass 82 has the extensive experience and acquired knowledge necessary to navigate local, state and federal programs to help survivors fast-track their recovery.

We work with individuals and families to:

  • Assess insurance claim and suggest a course of action to maximize payout.
  • Develop a customized recovery plan to connect survivors to appropriate resources based on immediate and long-term needs.
  • Guide survivors through the web of applications and appeals for local, state and federal resources.

We work with within the community to:

  • Collaborate with community leaders to establish customized solutions designed to address the needs each specific community.
  • Mentor local community agencies and long-term recovery groups as the recovery network becomes serviceable.
  • Take action to ensure vulnerable impacted populations have equal access to resources.
